Cheap Car Insurance for Lady Students
Congratulations, ladies! If you are reading this, you are either already enrolled and attending classes at college, or you’re taking special steps to make sure you’re completely prepared when the day does come for you to say goodbye to Mom and Dad and head off to become a student of higher learning!
Congratulate yourself beyond your college enrollment – congratulate yourself for realizing now that you’re a lady student, it’s time to ease up on the parents a bit and start taking responsibility for yourself. An important responsibility is making sure you have adequate car insurance. Of course, aside from having the best car insurance coverage, you also want the best car insurance price, right?
Right!
So, let’s take the following tips into consideration to help lady students get, and keep, cheap car insurance:
Install a safety alarm before you take off. Maybe your dad can do this for you, your uncle who owns an auto repair shop, or maybe you’d rather do it yourself.
Park your car in a well-lit area. If you’re living in a dormitory, well-lit parking isn’t always available, depending on the size of the parking lot and the lights provided. In any event, try to park where there is the most light. Your new car alarm system should pick up the slack.
Always remember to lock your doors before leaving your car. College keeps you busy, there’s no doubt about it. It also aids you in becoming forgetful. Don’t get so busy and stressed that you forget to protect your belongings – especially belongings as expensive and important as your car!
Never leave valuable items in your car. Cell phones, iPods, mp3 players, the covers of your CD player – never leave them in your car, even if you do keep it locked. This also includes any loose money and jewelry, your school books (those things are expensive, you know), and luggage from your trip home last weekend.

Looking For Car (Cheap) Insurance – Sports Cars Will Cost You Much More If You Don’t Do This
If you’re looking for car (cheap) insurance, sports cars of whatever make will cost you much more if you don’t know a few things. If you know and implement these things you can easily save as much as $2,000 on insuring your sports car. If you find it too hard to believe, read to the end to see if I’m wrong.
Little things do make a big difference. If someone says the following to you…
A: “Dive into the pool and then take a deep breathe.”
B: “Take a deep breathe and then dive into the pool.”
Would you get the same results? If you considered the two sentences above, you’ll observe that they have the exact same words rearranged to produce highly contrasting results. That’s the same thing with getting cheap car insurance for your sports car – A little rearrangement will greatly lower your rates.
Here are things that will make you pay far less on your sports car insurance…
1) Make sure you use it only when you can’t use the public transport system. The lower your mileage the lower the risk of insuring you and, therefore, the lower your rates.
2) Take a course in defensive driving. Being a defensive driver proves to an insurer that you’re less likely to be involved in a crash.
3) Make sure you maintain a great driving record. Avoid speed tickets. I know it’s a lot more difficult since you’re driving a sports car. But just do it. It will lower your rates.
4) Try not to make claims unless they are things you can’t handle easily. You could get a no claims bonus from your insurer. Some insurers may not give such bonuses. Ask when you’re about to get your car insurance policy.
5) Do your best to have a great security system installed in addition to safety features. This will reduce the likelihood of a theft and crash.
6) Always park your sports car in a garage and when you’re out, make sure it’s parked in a well-lit area. Thieving rats prefer dark spots. Parking in a garage protects it from flying balls, stones, tree branches and other things that could smash something and lead you to make a claim.
7) Get quotes from insurance brokers. Different insurers have different scores for the different factors used in calculating your premium. The difference for sports cars could be as high as $2,000 and more for certain profiles.
This means that by just visiting about three reputable quotes sites, obtaining and comparing quotes from them, you stand the chance of making savings of $2,000 on your sports car insurance. If you want it cheap, that’s the way to go.
